We are proud to announce the launch of our newest beer, Swingbridge Stout, as a festival special at this year's Norwich CAMRA Beer Festival at St Andrews and Blackfriars Halls in Norwich, 26-31 October, 2009. Brewed with dark malts, roasted barley and a small addition of oats, the beer is a full-bodied smooth stout with a flavour balanced between roasty notes and a refreshing hop palate. The head is light brown and frothy like a stout should be. This beer punches above its relatively low gravity of 4.1% abv.
The beer is named after the Reedham Swingbridge, a distinct feature of our home village, and adds another railway-themed beer to our portfolio with exceptional artwork by Broadland artist Derrick Buck. In conjunction with next week's launch you'll also be able to find Swingbridge Stout at a number of outlets in Norwich including the Kings Head on Magdalen Street
