Out and About

This coming Bank Holiday weekend, you can find Humpty Dumpty Brewery out and about at a number of local events.

On Saturday, we'll be at our usual stall at Beccles Farmers Market at the Heliport near Ellough from 9AM to 1PM.  This month our bottled beer special will be Broadland Sunrise and we'll be featuring Humpty Ale on draft for samples and off-sales in 4-pint jugs.

Sunday will see us at the Acle May Day Fair from 11AM to 4PM.  There will be live music, stalls, games to play, entertainment for the family as well as food stalls and the Humpty Dumpty beer tent.

On Monday we'll be participating in the Gressenhall Food Fair from 10AM to 5PM.  Come taste some of Norfolk's finest foods and meet the producers. 

Our brewery shop in Reedham (NR13 3TZ)  will also be open every day over the weekend from 12 Noon to 5PM.

We hope to see you out in the countryside enjoying the holiday weekend with some fine real ale!

Reedham Beer Festival, July 10-12, 2009

We are pleased to announce the music line-up for the 2009 Reedham Beer Festival.  The Festival will be held Friday through Sunday, July 10 - 12, at the Reedham Village Hall and Playing Fields, NR13 3HL.

• Friday evening:  Toe-tapping traditional jazz with the Dixie Jazz Bandits with Mary Lou Lambert

• Saturday:  Rock and roll from the '60s to the present with Acle's 9 Out Of 10 Cats, in alternating sets with local folk guitarist Jon Collorick

• Sunday:  Folk, jazz and rock from crowd-pleasers John Ward and Mario Price

The Reedham Beer Festival will feature 25-40 different beers from East Anglian breweries, including a wide range from Humpty Dumpty Brewery.  We will also have real cider from Norfolk producers.  We'll announce the final beer line-up closer to the festival dates.

Come by train to the Reedham Beer Festival.  The Village Hall is a short walk from the Reedham train station and late-running services are available every evening to Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.  For information, see the Wherry Lines website.

Camping (both tent and caravan) is also available in Reedham at The Archers Touring Park, part of the Reedham Ferry complex.

Brewery Shop - Re-opening

The Humpty Dumpty Brewery shop will be re-opening Saturday, April 4th, at 12 Noon.  We've been working hard to re-stock and freshen up the shop and we're looking forward to welcoming visitors every day through the end of October.

In addition to a full range of our currently available bottled beers we stock a small selection of beers from other UK microbreweries, principally from East Anglia.  We have a wide range of Belgian speciality beers including a number of gueuzes and a wide range of fruit beers. 

The shop also stocks a selection of local ciders, fruit wines, fruit juices as well as honey, jams, preserves and chutneys from local producers.  We have a range of sweets including local fudge and chocolate and a fridge full of soft drinks.

The brewery also has a range of Humpty Dumpty branded sportswear including polos, rugbys, hats and fleeces, and collectors memorabilia including glassware and pumpclip clocks.

The shop is open daily from 12 Noon to 5 PM from April 4th through October 30th.
